What exactly is Momos?
Momos are filled dumplings that can be steamed or fried. Momo is a traditional Nepalese and Tibetan delicacy. Momos are typically accompanied with a hot and sweet tomato chili chutney (a dipping sauce).
Momos are delicious as a snack, but they may also be a light and filling dinner at any time of day.
Momos are a famous street meal in India’s northwestern region. I recall the exquisite taste and enchantment of the momos when I first tried them many years ago. It was back when I was living in India.
As a snack, I ate momos from a street vendor’s kiosk, and I must say they were the greatest momos I’d ever had till today. Those hot veggie packed dumplings with spicy and sweet chile tomato chutney were wonderful.
How are Steamed Veg Momos made?
The key to preparing properly balanced momos is to make the vegetables stuffing less spicy and then serve it with hot red sauce. This manner, your tongue would be able to detect all of the balanced flavors at the same time.
As I previously stated, there are three sorts of momos: steamed momos, fried momos, and sautéd and cooked in water momos. My personal favorite is the steamed version, thus I’ve decided to share these with you all.
Another piece of good news is that making these momos does not necessitate the use of any complicated kitchen utensils. To make the most enticing momos, all you need is a rolling pin and a bowl of water.
